I use weather bug or the local radio station.

I rely on the computer (NWS)

I rely on the computer (NWS) more than anything else for weather news.

We mostly use the weather

We mostly use the weather channel or weather.com.  there is a weather thing on my dashboard but it isn't always updated with the current temps so I'd rather do weather.com

My most consistently

My most consistently reliable weather source is our wireless weather station with Atomic clock....So the time is always set to the exact time of the Atomic Clock in Boulder, CO. The weather thingy can forecast rain, tell you whether the barometer is rising or falling...that sort of thing. There are fancier ones that will tell you weather for more than the next 24 hours.....It's supposed to be pretty accurate to within 50 - maybe 100 miles. Sometimes the weather channel or our local television stations will forecast clouds, but our weather station will pick up the rain.....While the TV weather sources don't indicate any probability for rain, it still rains. That's why this is so accurate. It's also great because it helps me plan whether or not I will need to water on a given day.

I use Weatherbug on my

I use Weatherbug on my computer. I also have a weather program like Weatherbug that comes from one of our local television stations....Other than that, my husband has a wireless weather station with atomic clock that's really reliable, and we have a remote sensor outside....I also rely on the Weather Channel a fair amount....We also have a scanner that allows us to get NWA forecasts.

An outdoor thermometer, which reads from the inside is what I use for daytime quick checks on temperature.  Our local TV weatherman always gives the current weather info, plus a 7 day outlook.  The outlook allows one to plan gardening chores accordingly.  For major weather info and updates, the National Weather Channel is my choice.

I use the weather net on my

I use the weather net on my computer to tell me the temperature where I live or any other place I might be visiting by putting in the zip code.

I've been thinking about

I've been thinking about that myself.  My SIL, David, has been working on getting the house painted and he took down the outdoor thermometer that I had hanging on the garage.  We could see that through the kitchen window.  But I have to rely on the computer now and it's not always convenient.  Heathkit used to have a weather station kit that they sold and my neighbor at our last house bought one and put it together.  It had a thing on the top that also measured windspeed and wind direction.  Pretty slick.  We were both "Hams" and he had it mounted on the top of his radio tower.  I took my tower down when I moved to Newberg and never got it back up in the air again.

I usually rely on the local

I usually rely on the local weather channel and I have a little weather station inside that gives me the temperature inside and outside and it is usally accurate.  Annette
