I WAS ASK BY A NEWBIE TO HOST A KIDS ROUND ROBIN XMAS.WHA TDO YOU ALL THINK.GIVE ME YOUR OPION. THERE ARE GARDENERS THAT HAVE KIDS AND THERE ARE SOME THAT HAS GRAND KIDS. ust to add to what Jo posted - I am the newbie - been here long enough now that I don't feel quiet so newbie, but I guess in comparison, I am :) What I was thinking was - gardenhere members with kids/grandkids - we're participating in secret santa, and where's my stocking and all this fun stuff, what about the kids? I have a 13, 10, and 4 year old, and I thought it might be fun to match them up with others in the same se OK SENDTO ME ARE STACIE IF YOU INTERESTED,THIS WOULD GREAT FOR THE KIDS TO GET THEM INVOLVED TO LOOK FORWARD TO SOMETHING. PLAYERS NOW!!! THERESA -AND NORA IS AGE 4 STACIES KIDS-CARISSA AGE 13,JENNA KAY AGE 10, JOSHUA AGE 4 ALSO WE HAVE DIXIEGIRL ENTERING HER GRANDSKIDS,AUSTIN AGE 3,AND CALLIE GRACE AGE7x/age range and do a lower cost kid-to-kid secret santa type of exchange. I would gladly take responsiblity for doing the matching up, maintaining lists, handling mailings or whatever needed to be done. I just thought it might be fun for the younger ones too - my kids are *so* envious every time I get mail that I thought it might be fun for them to participate ... :) So - what do you'll think? Moms&Grandparents teach those kids how food is started from a little pea and how it is grown also,bye helping them have a spot in the garden and yard for flowers and veggs.

Jo, are you willing to be the moderator who takes charge of this? If so, go ahead! Now let's see if we can find some participants! I say we should launch a campaign to teach kids about how yummy veggies are when you grow them yourself.....My hubby could stand to learn from that, too! He hates all veggies! Can you believe it????? I say the greener, the more colorful, the better --- except mushrooms!
