I received Mexican sunflower, Tithonia Torch seeds from Tatyana in a trade and it came up. I love this and will be saving seed for next year to plant more, Thanks Tatyana.. 

I really love this perennial lobelia.  It is a vast improvement of the species. Since this is it's first summer in the garden I do not know how well it will do over the winter months.

Blooms late summer onwards 'til hard frost.

Plant in sun to part shade. I have this one where it gets morning sun and afternoon shade.

Needs constant supply of moisture so frequent waterings are essential, as is a layer of mulch.

Grows 20 to 24" high.

This is a memorial planter created by my hubby in remembrance of my parents. The well sits in a friends yard in the town where my parents lived memorializing their life together.  My dad had built one similar to this one only larger that fit over a stump in their yard. Year after year mom would plant it with her favorite flowers.
