Hi everybody!  Okay I know that this question has been answered before but I have been looking and looking for info and it is just taking too long to find so...

I am sending out my very 1st trade of live plants and wanna make sure I do it right.  Any suggestions from you veteran traders would be appreciated.  Thank you Becki

It's going to depend on the plants/bulbs you are shipping

Penny's info is the basic many of us use, but - Please look at this forum - it already has the best information in detail already there for you Shipping&Packing

For navigation of the GH site, when you have a moment, you might want to get a look at the basic layout of the FORUMS - to do this - go to Forums at the very Top or very Bottom of any page.

Shipping

I ship all my plants using priority mail in a box large enough to accommodate the plants and bulbs. You will want to wet a paper towel and put on the end of all live plants then put end with paper towel on it in a plastic bag. Then I also wrap newspaper around the cuttings just to help protect them from the travel and from temperature changes in mail travel. Most bulbs you will want to dig them fresh and wash them off and then wrap a damp paper towel around them also. And then wrap them also in newspaper to protect them also. Hope this gives you some help.
