We have a new mushroom seedling...uh-oh wait, I didn't plant any shrooms!

I noticed a tiny toadstool in the King Palm pot....I also noticed what looks like mold spots in a couple of the pots. This could be due to my watering the seeds from above when I first planted them -before the system was even up & running in my anticipation to get sprout started..i also used 'tap' water the first time....my bad.
Or it could possibly be from the extra warmth when the dishwasher's on -the d'washer is under the bar where the reservoirs sit... maybe I should try checking the water temp in the reservoirs and then checking it again with the d'washer on to see if there's a significant change. Then I'll know whether or not to move the reservoirs elsewhere...
No gnats or major problems though....and it doesn't seem to be affecting the growth/sprout rate. We now have 5 Blackberry lillies (5 out of 5 - 100% germ. rate !), and a 3rd Nightblooming Jasmine.
I'll scoop out the toadstool and mold? spots...
So far so good....lets keep our fingers crossed!

According to my cousin who is a genuine rocket scientist (astro-physicist/astronaut,) mushrooms are indeed merely a few cells removed from mold...so yup, I guess they are an advanced form of mold. That may be why of all the foods on the planet, I find mushrooms without question, the most disgusting.
And margerine is only a few cells removed from PLASTIC!

Glad I got to make someone laugh today & happy to know you're still ok ... just a heads up- from now on you may want to take caution : 'No Sipping' when reading these posts - there's no tellin' what could sprout next...remember 'the Little Shop of Horrors?!? Susan, you could be right and to think most folks gripe about clay.....heyyy, wait a minute - I've always heard that 'shrooms & T'stools grow from cowpatties...and I paid Good Money for that 'ground clay' ! LOL. .......wouldn't that be awful to think I was buying clay only to find it was High Dollar 'manure' !!!
