You CAN grow peanuts from raw peanuts that you can buy in any store. It is as easy as anything else and in zone 8 you can plant in April for a harvest in a few months I do believe. I grew some the year before last but my soil was not good and I planted late. I DID get some small edible peanuts however!! Good luck!! Bonnie

this might sound funny but i remember about 40 years ago....i saw my mother planting peanuts from regular raw panuts from the store...i never found out if she got peanuts out of it but i do remember  the plants and they were beautiful.

i am interesting in iris's, do you have calla lily?
