Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency moved the Elk from the Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area in western tennessee and kentucky in 2005.   About two weeks ago they transported in 35 more Elk.  This photo was taken from the Elk Viewing Tower at Hatfield Knob in Campbell County Tennessee.

I am like you Bibee. If my hubby and son saw it that is what they would be saying as well. The went hunting but didn't see anything and now that the season has ended they are all up in our yard.....LOL
