Printer-friendly versionTomorrow morning I have to go for my yearly PAP, please pray that it will be a good report. I have had a bad one before. Also pray for I have missed a cycle, I don't know if because of my exercise or something else. But will find out tomorrow at 46 i don't really want another child but know it would be God's will not mine. Plus our kids are all grown, 22, almost 21 and 18 1/2 years old.. I am nervous, so please pray for me as I go. I'll try and let you all know how it goes when I get home, Thanks Karen.

I'm Back from the doc's...

She said everything looks great and I'm not pregnant,It all has to do with the Menopause in us women its that time in my life.Lab results in about 2-3 weeks. Thank you everyone for your prayers. I really was nervous and thought of canceling today, but when I read all your prays for me. I cried and went, knowing you would all be praying for me, thanks you so much and a BIG HUG to you each.. sunflower3/Karen

Karen, so pleased everything went well. If you have more symptoms, you might look at black cohosh as an alternative treatment instead of regular drugs - have a friend who had a full hysterectomy at 32 & cannot take regular hormones, so she takes this. Bless your heart!!! Glad everything went well. I've been having those great "power surges" for about 3 years now. I'd love to have a good nights sleep without the awakening from a terrible heat wave! My fix for the big M....take a glass of ice water to bed with you and have it on your nightstand, turn the A/C to 68..leave it there!!!! Plug in a fan beside the bed and aim it at yourself (2 if you have them..one on the face and one on the body.) Tell hubby to wear his long johns at night and give him an extra blankie.. all will be well in time. At least that's what I've been told. I could go on and on with this subject.. but..we're a gardening forum so I'll hush! I wish you the best. Ohhhh.. and watch out for those mood swings...they can cause even more loss of sleep!
