Dang I wish those stinkin horned worms would figure out that those tomato plants were NOT edible. I sure don't like them pesky things.

Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most!!

Might be that only PART of the plant is toxic. Like tomato plants. The fruit is edible, but the plant itself is not. And some berries/fruits edible only when ripe.

If you really research, many of the plants which we consume parts of, the other parts may have toxic qualities. Could be a rash, upset tummy or downright fatal.

 Interesting information ...but have to say after looking over the list...a few of the plants they have listed as not to eat......I eat...muust be I am reading it incorrectly...or something...

do not eat flowers classified as "edible" unless you grow them or purchase them from a source that grows them just for eating. Commercial growers often use chemicals that are not approved for consumption.
