hello friends:

Jose was sent home for few days.

Unfortunately we were told Jose is leaving to a better life soon.

If he does not go under surgery, he will die sooner but at he same time he might not resist the surgery, he has lost almost 100 pounds and chemo is not doing anything any longer.

Jose wants surgery and will be done hopefully Wednesday, so they allowed him to come home to spend few days at home with us.

If he survives the surgery, it is not for a cure, it is just to prolonge his life longer. Jose is a cancer producer and this is not going to stop.

Osiris and myself are devastated, I am praying to god before anything, the angels, the saints, mother nature, even to the moon, sun and stars.

Jose is everything in our lifes and we need to accept the reality, but it is not easy, unfortunately we live an old fashion way of life, where the man is the one that moves everything around, make decisions, spoils, cares and always made us feel so dependent, protected and special. I understand that in this modern world it should be different, but for us it was fine, Osiris and myself were very happy but soon we will only have each other and it is not a good feeling.

I pray to god to give him more time, just more time for him to do for the last time what he likes the most, fishing, hunting, gardening, go to the river, to the lake, to be able to see the ocean, the sun rise, to enjoy mother nature and spend the most productive time of his life with me and Osiris.

Wednesday will be a day full of emotions for us no matter what happens.

Savor the Moments.....

Susy & Osiris....While Jose is at home for a few days, savor and treasure those moments.  There is no doubt but what he knows that he is loved deeply by his wife and daughter.  Beyond that, it's the little things that count now.  Hold his hand, kiss his brow, read to him, talk to him, pray with him, just sit with him in the silence of the night, & smile at him in the morning.  Those are just a few of the things you can do to SAVOR THE MOMENTS, and bring him more comfort than all the medicine in the world.  I'm thinking of you all.

You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. Will be praying for Jose to come through the surgery safely. And for strength and comfort for you and your daughter. When a loved one is diagnosed with cancer you cherish every blessed day you get to spend with them. Terribly sorry your family is going through this. We have had 2 diagnosed in the past several months and such a long journey. Just remember we are all here for you. Some of us know all to well what you are going through. Prayers and love...Jen

Im sorry you having to endure such sickness with your love one,but god is in control now,god knows the pain tha tyou and your daughter are having and jose also,just turn it over to the master,if he brings u to it,he will bring you through it. I always remember that saying.MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!!

Bless your heart, Suzy.  No apologies are in order for living the life that you have chosen.  There is no life that is free of heartache.  What makes the difference is what we do with the time allotted to us.  It is said that in his advanced years, the apostle John would admonish those around him, "Little children, love one another!"  There is no better advice for any of us.  And you, sweet lady, have already come to that point.

Susy ,My Prayers are with you and your family as well. I think that being the way you are (old fashioned) is a good thing.As i was driving today ,i went passed a church and the sign in front of it read "Live everyday as if your dying" It really made me think about life and every day we have is a gift from God.Take this time to share all the Love you have for Jose with him now. Help him to do the things he can and make them lasting memories for all of you, go fishing w/him watch the sunset have a picnic at the lake .It's never easy when someone you love is sick or dying,but life is a gift ,cherish what you have ,God will be with you . I know what you are feeling now with this sadness and not knowing what the future holds. Just know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. I lost my dad to the dreadful disease of cancer 11 years ago this June. God has helped us through all things and know that God is with you and Jose through all things also so don't give up. My prayers go out for you daily.

Susy I hope you get your wish for all the things you want left in Jose's life.  You say you live an old fashioned life style that is not something to say that it is unfortunate.  That is great way to live and especially since you have been so happy over the years until now.  Being the caregiver is tough, you will have alot of obstacles to work through.  My prayer is that Jose can live bascially pain free for the rest of his life's journey.  Dale

I'm so sorry that you, Jose and Osiris are having to go through this, Susy. It won't be easy. I hope you know that you have a group of folks here who, even though we've never met you, care greatly about you and are offering our prayers, thoughts and love. Know that we are here for you whenever you need some support and friendship. The power of love is very strong. I hope that Jose isn't suffering and that he's not in pain -- if that is possible.
