Ron, my mom has those, but I think some of hers may be white! We love them! After snow drops, they are one of the earliest flowers to bloom for her in the spring. I am not sure whether she's in zone 5 or zone 6. This winter, it seemed more like she was in zone 4. I just love those! I think we had them, too, when I was growing up! I remember coming home from school and seeing the tiny little blooms and smiling, knowing that it wasn't long until spring -- or more importantly, until I got out of school for the summer! Thanks for sharing!
Your photos are gorgeous! I just LOVE your avatar picture......Now, if only you could capture some hummingbird pictures, I'd really be fit to be tied! I don't want to pry or anything, but what kind of camera are you using? My DH is a real camera geek and buff, and I'm sure he'd be interested in knowing!

Hey Susan!
I use a Kodak Easyshare CX7330 with 3.1 mega pixels!
I also use a tri-pod to keep the camera stead, especailly for close-up!
If the photo comes out a bit fuzzy, or need to resize I use IrfanView.
