How do I upload photos I want to share? And once they are loaded, how do I find them to post?

Here's the easiest route:, especially if you wish to upload several photos to use in an ID, or article.

FAQ Uploading images
Go to Add Content  Choose Upload Photo
Name the photo you are uploading; a short descriptive title, (1- 4 words is best).
Next box choose the proper gallery for your image to reside in.
Click on Browse in the next line & it will bring up a window of your hard drive. Choose the image you wish to upload.
Click Submit (only once)
Be aware before attempting - your images must be resized to no larger than 35 kb
Now your image resides here at GH in the proper gallery. When you wish to insert it into a reply/comment box, look at the top of the comment
box for this camera icon Add an existing Drupal image or upload a new one.  Click it once.
You will get a new window open now to choose one of your loaded photos. It will first have a small inner window at the top where you should see "My Images" - scroll through this list until you click on the gallery where you stored your photo. Locate the photo, click on it once.
Now you will see the photo in it's own insert window. Settings are already set to default the way they should appear. If this is the photo you were looking for, click Insert at the bottom of that small window.
This loads the photo into your reply/comment, so you can tell everyone about it.
Once you have mastered this, we will post the next level that will allow you to Upload from your hard drive directly to your reply/comment box.
It is not as complicated as this sounds; I simply tried to be as explicit as possible for those not as familiar with their computers.

To load images directly from your reply/post box....

Once you have mastered the basics listed above, you are ready to try the next step - uploading a photo or image from your computer directly into your reply/comment.

As above, all images must be resized to 35 kb or less. If you properly crop and edit your photos before resizing, this should still be a good size image for viewing.

When you are posting in your reply/comment and reach a spot in your vebage where you want to insert a photo - I have been spacing one line down to make sure I do not cut off my words, then:

Click the camera icon in the upper right corner of the reply/comment box Add an existing Drupal image or upload a new one.

You will get a new window open now to choose one of your loaded photos or to upload a new photo from your hard drive. It will first have a small inner window at the top where you should see "My Images" - just below that is the Upload button Click it once - it will give you a second page where you can Name your photo - please be sure you do this so everyone will know exactly what this image is. Next pick the proper gallery for your image to reside in.
Below that is a Browse button - click on it one time. This will give you a window of choice from your hard drive. Select the proper photo from your collection. If you wish to add a small description of your image, you may click into the comment box below that - check your spelling - and submit.
The image you just loaded should now be available as a clickable choice in that first image window.
Now you will see the photo in it's own insert window. Settings are already set to default the way they should appear. If this is the photo you were looking for, click Insert at the bottom of that small window.
This loads the photo into your reply/comment, here I have been spacing a couple of lines after my images so it does not crowd my words. Now you can tell everyone all about it.

Again, this is not as complicated as it sounds; I simply tried to be as explicit as possible for those not as familiar with their computers.

Try it & let us know how this worked for you!
