This is Evening Primrose. It comes up as a rosette of leaves which is shown in this picture. Being a biennial, the rosette will stay like this until the next year, when it will send up a tall bloom stalk which has small yellow blooms up and down the stem. It is sometimes described as a weedy herb. It reseeds very easily, and can easily take over a space if the seedlings aren't kept removed. If, however, you are into
