I started mine indoors last

I started mine indoors last year in a good sized pot, since I wanted to make sure it had a good growing season. It will make NEW and larger tubers, so you dont have to worry about it dying off....or mine did anyways....I also bought some more for this season to line my picket fence with them...the leaves are soo cool they grab on with a tendril like tip...

Good luck growing them, and I hope you will post some pictures of them when they grow !

Rosequeen, it's a vine, and

Rosequeen, it's a vine, and I believe it likes full sun. You have a rhizome, I assume. Put it some place where it will get plenty of sun but have room to climb and room for the rhizomes to expand. Did you get Rothschildiana? That's my absolute favorite. It has tendrils that cling to things so that's how it supports itself as it climbs. I think (but am not positive,) that a rhizome will only send one stem up....They are glorious indeed and I hope you really love it.......It's one of those spectacular exotic babies that you can't help but love!
