Family Dollar flower pot prices

Hi everybody,

I went to Family Dollar store this week and they have really good everyday prices on plastic flower pots...

I got 2 large pots 15" square (about 1 CF capacity) for $4.00 each (great for small trees....) and 2 round 15" pots (self-watering) for $3.00 each....

6" pots are $1 each,  and hanging baskets are $1.50  ...these all have trays on bottom. They have the 8" square pots with legs for $1.00 each - you have to punch out the drain holes in these..the only colors available were white, terra cotta and green, but at least now I've got more matching pots..

They also have really cute bird feeders.. I got one that has metal flowers and a dragonfly -its about 3 feet tall altogether and holds thistle seed.

I am going to check the pots out at Dollar Tree and Family Dollar while I am out today.  Big lots have the large cinderblocks for 50 cents.  I couldn't get them last week cause I had 10 bags of compost in my van.  I need at least 12 so I can't make a bench for my flower pots.  You stand the blocks up on their ends, one on each end and the middle. Then set a long 12 inch wide by how many feet long you would like and then sit your pots on it.  I have some selving about 10 feet lon. I saw this in one of my gardening magazines. Our Family Dollar has hostas in bag (4 of them) for 2.00! I picked up a few myself and so did my mama.

Yea, I like the cute styles

Yea, I like the cute styles they have at Big Lots, and the good deals on gardenin supplies and tools. Dollar Tree is another good place, but they usually only have small & medium sized pots. They're great though for finding nice flower bulb deals this time of year too!
