Medicinal and Herb Seeds

Hi all...in my never ending quest for seeds of hard to find herbs and medicinal plants I stumbled across this web site... called Alchemy Works - just google it.
It's a treasure trove of seeds and information.
i grow quite a few herbs and plants for medicinal and the one that i treasure the most is comfry. Comfry is absolutely wonderful in healing cuts of almost any kind. I pick the leaves, dry them and grind them up and them add a little oil to it to make a paste. Vitamin E oil usually. I pack this onto the cut and wrap. In no time at all its healed, without scar. I've also used this on my dogs when they have gotten cut and it works wonderfully. I wrap them extra good and change every day to make sure they dont eat any of it. It can be poisonious if to much is ingested, although I've read where it has been used internally but I don't want to take that chance.
It's a dogs world..bark as long and loud as you can
I love that site...always

Calendula
comfrey
Hello !
Yes indeed, Comfrey is wonderful for healing. But, do not use on deep wounds because it causes the skin to heal so qauickly that the tissue underneath can fester if not allowed to heal slowly.
As soon as the inner tissue is healing and the outer skin is closed - then slather on the comfrey to finish the process. There are many great skin healing herbs/flowers.
I use Comfrey, yarrow, lavender, roses, calendula, chamomile, neem... for all of my skin issues.
