calla lillies
hi
I am from zone 5. I had a trade in fall and received calla lillies bulb.
I planted them in a pot because it was already too late of the season. So I brought the pot inside and the plant came out and grew very poor. Last month it started getting pretty and all of sudden started flowering. I was so happy, i was just trying to keep the plant alive to be planted outside around may. I never thought I was going to have a calla lilly iside the house.

Yes, callas grow very well
Yes, callas grow very well in pots. In fact, they prefer to be a little crowded and root bound.
You should pot them in a pot with only an inch or two of space between the bulb and the edge of the pot.
The smaller colored ones don't stay in bloom very long...maybe a week. Although I grow mine in full-part sun.
I think if they're grown in shadier locations, the blooms may last longer. The giant white ones (like the ones in Susy's pics)
seem to flower for longer periods of time. I have some of those growing in my shade garden, and they've been in bloom for a couple weeks now and the blooms still look fresh.
