I can see the picnow.Thanks
Works great!
Thanks for sharing Sunflower. I agree with Dorothy this is a great way to root cuttings. I have been doing this with my cuttings and works wonderfully! What I do is get a 16oz (or bigger) used water bottle, cut top 3/4's of the way. You will have to put water holes on the bottom. I use a sodering gun. Works perfectly to melt holes in it. You can use a drill or cut it with scissors. With what ever method you use be careful! Plant the cuttings on the bottom of water bottle. I put clear tape to seal the top for the high humidity effect. To let them get fresh air just unscrew cap! Your cuttings have an individual green house to root in. Plus when they start to root you will know because you get to see it through your clear bottom!!! :)

Terrariums
These are great. I start cuttings like this. We made terrariums out of these in Science class back when they still had the bottoms attached. They worked so much better when the bottoms were attached because of the fit. This is a classic that works well.

I see it now! You just essentially created a recycled version of those really expensive glass things! I'll be anxious to see how your seeds do.....and whether they germinate any faster using that method than they would if you'd just planted them the ordinary way.
