Hi Everyone,Here we can continue our experiments with Adenium seeds and their progress!

4 DizzyD's adeniums!

I planted 10 seeds of Adnium Lucky Star mix seeds from Dizzy a week ago, so far I have 4 one inch tall bellies, the leaves are just starting to develop. It looks like I may have one more coming up...still waiting on other Lucky Star babies...but I am so happy I have these, since now I have 4 named varieties and these 5 mix babies...

Mary, don't forget to soak

Mary, don't forget to soak them for four hours -- at the least, before you plant them! That makes a huge difference!

From my round 1, I had 12

From my round 1, I had 12 of 16 sprout.  That's only 75% (if I'm doing the math correctly?  Numbers are not my friend!)  But I'm happy with my 12 babies....I really don't know what I'm going to do with them all when they start to get bigger!  I took some of the larger ones out of their peat pellets and planted them in 4" pots.  They don't seem to be growing very fast, but they are growing.  And for the most part they're healthy.  I do have 2 that are very small and kind of twisted.  I guess they were just sub-par seeds?  I'm still hoping they will grow into healthy plants, but right now they're the runts of the litter.  :)
