I had one of these once and I remember the hummingbirds just loved it. At the time I didn't realize it was tender, so I left it outside during the winter. Beautiful !

Sorry Dale, these guys are grown from rhizomes.  Haven't seen any seed production since they are probably pollenated by specialize insects.  It is a close relative of the African Violet.  I bring these plants indoors for the winter and store them in the basement in a cool, dark, dry area.  I will be be starting them up again soon.
