Does anyone know anything about this plant?  I fell in love with this plant at a garden show this past weekend.  The only reason I didnt get it was it could not fit into my car.  I have since acquired some fresh seeds.  Does anyone have experience with it?   I had never seen this plant in my life but have seen 2 houses in my neighborhood with them  since Sunday.  Neither owner could tell me much about the shrub.  They both said "it just takes care of itself".

Dorthy, They sell this plant at my local nursery. They had lots of them but I did not look at the prices.

I did find seeds for it.  I was just hoping someone here had some experience they could share on it.  I hope the seeds work but if they don't I now have a source for cuttings.

One of these had this to say - Yesterday-today-and-tomorrow does best in full sun but needs some shady protection during the heat of the day to look its best. Also does well in filtered shade.  Water regularly and don't allow to dry out completely.

I got all the jibberjabber on the net.  I asked because there is nothing like personal experience especially from people living all over the country and abroad.  I have gotten so much conflicting information on the net on different plants and seeds that I still go back to personal experience.  They give numbers and zones but there's nothing like getting it from the horses' mouth, so to speak.  Thanks anyway.

Hi Dorothy,

I went to the N. O. spring garden show and saw that plant.  I met a lady "under the tent" who designs gardens and was selling that plant.  I have a pic if you want it.  Would you believe she was sellng it for $110.?  I can't believe we were at the same show! Laughing  I was there Sunday, late.  I love that plant too and of course want one.  From what this lady said, it seemed she  hypridized(ph) the plant, that is was exclusively hers.  Hmmmmmm.

That's where I first saw it.  I wish I would have known you were going because we could have met.  I went Saturday.  There were 2 vendors selling a 2 1/2 gallon for 20.  The ones in the pavillion were much prettier.  I don't think she hibridized it.  I have been researching and it's been around forever.   I got some fresh seeds and my neighbor around the corner said I could take cuttings from hers if the seeds don't work.  I will get some softwood cuttings when it is time.  I started some of the seeds today.

Oh wow, that sounds great.  Sure hope your seeds do well and your cutting too.   Where did you get the seeds from?
