White wildflower

OOOPS -- I forgot the name of this white wildflower which was just ID'd on the old site..
I think one name is snakeroot.......
It's in the ageratum family, I
believe, but is a PA wildflower.
I saw more of them blooming along the roadside today.

Preciousjoy, Most of my

Preciousjoy,

Most of my plants are running late this year, as I was traveling when I should have been planting, but many of these photos are ones I took over the summer and did not have time to post. This particular wildflower is a volunteer at the back of my lot -- and I let it grow because I did not recognize the leaf as a known weed.

It is nearly done blooming now, but going to seed.

Many of the other things are, indeed, blooming now -- and just now at their peak. I will be sad to see the frost.

Blessings all -- praying for your needs.   Theresa    T

You have a good memory --

You have a good memory -- but the blue one wasn't snakeroot -- it was a perennial floss flower - although they have a resemblance and possibly share family.

Blessings all -- praying for your needs.   Theresa    T

I think snakeroot is right!

I think snakeroot is right! Only the one that was ID'd on the old site was a kind of blue/lavender color!
