What kind of dirt???

I would like to know what brand of dirt you use or do you just use dirt from your yard ?It's a silly question I know But I would like to know, I use store brand for starting out seeds and then just use some nice composted dirt from under our trees and thing grow great in it, So I was wondering if you all buy and do you own thing. I sift the yard dirt to take out leaves, stinks and stones and it is real fine and a dark color, so I use it. Tell me what you do for your potted plants.. Thanks Karen. : )
