A lot of our bags are used again for one thing or anotehr and a couple of times  a year we haul a budle down to Krogers which accepts them for recycling here.

To be honest, I am not a very big fan of walmart and only go inthere about once every other blue moon.  I like to support the local businesses as much as possible.  Ann goes more frequently, but she has never mentioned them collecting bags.

I usally use all my plastic bags.  But if you don't reuse them take back to the stores that offer to recycle the bags.  Thanks for posting.

Great reminder, Karry! If people don't use these recycling options the stores will not continue to offer them. The bags seem so small and harmless, but can you imagine if every one of them ended up in a landfill?

Ya know, I wish Walmart would do a trial. It would probably benefit them (and everyone) in the long run if they gave away free reusable canvas bags...then give people a few cents off every time they use their reusable bag.  I wish I saw more people use the canvas bags.
