Want to make.....

A water garden on a low budget, any ideas? I would really want to have a waterfall on it, but not exactly sure how to. Where do I get the rocks, etc, etc, etc. I found the perfect place for a small/medium sized pond, but not too sure on how to go about making one. I looked at the pre-molded ones, but not too impressed onthe price. I read somewhere that using the liner is cheaper and just as affective... any info would be greatly appreciated.

Ponds and waterfalls

Hi, I started with a pump, 325gph, a preformed liner, 18" deep and 4' long and 3' wide. I use a spitter and also an old well pump with a tube running through it. I enjoy the sound of running water and love watching my fish and frogs. This coming spring I plan on installing a waterfall. I want it to look as natural as possible and intend on using rocks to build it up and a liner for the base. My pond is three years old and I cover it each winter with a teepee made from 2X2 pieces of wood and plastic. It keeps the snow out and with the pump running 24/7 it doesn't freeze. Wayne
