Yesterday my husband and I went for a day trip to Myrtle Beach for shopping at the malls.  Then ended up at Dockside Seafood Restaurant at Callabash N.C.  Took this photo from our table at the restaurant.  Yesterday, April 26th was the day 37 years ago my husband got out of service.   We were having a day of celebration.  Dale   View of Inlet from Restaurant

Beautiful view!

That's a gorgeous view Dale! It sounds like you really had a blast. When we lived in Iowa, there was a Tanger outlet not terribly far from us.....I don't think I ever went there, though. It was off the highway and whenever I drove by that, I was always en route elsewhere. There's nothing like eating fish as soon after it is caught as possible.

When I was a child, we used to go up to Door County Wisconsin in the summertime. Their big thing there was Friday night fish boils. They were pretty tasty affairs.

Your childhood days sounds

Your childhood days sounds like fun.  Yesterday I got some summer tops Lee brand retail price $22 for $5.  I love a good bargain.  I am not cheap but I like to see how far my money can go.

You wouldn't have been too

You wouldn't have been too far out the way for us scoot by and get.  Hehhehehe.  If you are going to Tanger Outlet anytime soon the the Vanity Fair outlet is having some good sales.  We left our house at 1230PM and was home at 630 PM.   We went to Tanger Outlet, Ross Dress for Less and Dollar Tree all there in North Myrtle Beach and was at the Dockside Restaurant in Callabash NC at 4 PM when they opened.  We walked down to the docks to see all the fish people were bringing in from their fishing trip.   Then we headed home, a whirlwind trip but oh so much fun.
