White turtlehead has narrow leaves and a more open appearance than the purple or pink turtlehead plant. They can be pinched back to keep more compact, but with my short growing season I worry it may postpone the bloom too much.Turtlehead, Chelone glabra

Chelone obliqua are so dependable.  They are disease and pest resistant!

Resistance

They are disease resistant and I've never had a problem with any insects, but the deer and at least one really rotten woodchuck have enjoyed grazing on them a bit much this year. Thank goodness they don't care for hot spices!

That's what my mom has! I think they are gorgeous! The pink flowers against the lovely green foliage is wonderful! Your photo is spectacular.

I still think you need to produce a flower calendar to sell!

Connie, is there a pink one too? I think my mom has the pink one, only the flowers look larger. Yours is really lovely. The contrast of the dark green and white is really neat!
