Needs mostly shade with morning sun! Not fussy as to soil, but needs to be mulched to conserve moisture. A bit of a rambler as the rhizomes spreads out from the main plant. It will not stay in the same place so give it room to do its thing! Blooms September-October and grows 36" high!
There are new cultivars that are dwarf and do not move around like the standard species type!
