Ingredients
- 2 q saucepan
- 2 q water
- 3 tetley family size tea bags
- 1 c splenda (or sugar)
Instructions
Fill pan with water, place tea bags on top, cook to just boiling.
Place lid on pan and allow to "steep" for 20 minutes. mix splenda (or sugar) in 1 gallon pitcher with 1 cup warm water.
Once tea has "steeped", pour tea into pitcher (strain out tea bags) to mix with sweetened water; fill the remainder of the pitcher with cold water; mix. Allow to cool.
Notes
For best flavor, cool completely in fridge for several hours.
Best served over ice, with lemon slices if desired.
We use only Tetley tea or down South, Red Diamond Tea.
