Tons of stuff!

I have cannas, wildflowers, hibiscus, elephant ears, daylilies, crocosmia, gingers, daisies, morning glories, Plumerias, Brugs, Stephanotis Floribunda, Adeniums, all sorts of things.

Most things will tolerate filtered sun. The tropicals I have mostly like hot temperatures, lots of sun, and some like a lot of water while others don't.

I also have Datura planted, columbine, salvia, pea vine, alamo vine, morning glories, Irises, and so much more that I can't remember all of it.

I know I may be repeating a few but in the extreme heat  and sun of Phoenix I've managed to grow morning glories, lady banks roses, cypress vine, zinnias, petunias.

Our sun has fried cannas, elephant ears, gardenia, bottlebrush cactus, bouganvillia, aloes and prickly pear cactus- I'm thinking they may need to be older to be in the full sun.

Susan you grow your New Guniea Impatiens in full sun?    I grew them a full years ago and didn't have good luck.   I got a deal on 12 New Guinea Impatiens this week and trying to decide where to plant them.   Did use some of the plants in my golf cart wire basket planter.

My bee balm, gaillardia,

My bee balm, gaillardia, loosestrife, geum, and mums all love the sun. I believe that the sedum also loves it as the ones in the sun are getting much bigger than the one shaded by the burning bush. I guess I will have to move it next year and put something that likes shade there....hmmmmmm who was it offering that lily of the valley....lol

Some columbine likes sun and

Some columbine likes sun and some like shade. The only one I have that can't tolerate sun is White Barlow. The rest do just as well in sun or shade. I am sure that our Ohio sun doesn't get as hot as your Texas sun though, Susan. Micki
