This was the second piece I created.  It had 214 pieces of glass which was quite ambitious but I fell in love with the pattern.  You can't really see it in the picture but there is a heart-shaped piece of glass in the trunk of the tree. I made this for my dad and his girlfriend who have been together for 30+ years so I painted their initials in the heart:  BP+BS.  Unfortunately, they had it leaning in a window sill much like it is in the picture and it got knocked down.  You can't see it very well but the lower left corner is broken.  So, my goal is to get it repaired and framed (I never had it framed) sometime this Spring.  I think framing it will protect it from a bit more.
