Was hoping that someone might be able to ID this Sedum. I don't remember buying it and can't figure out where it came from! I absolutely love it though. It is about 18-24" tall.

Wow..
I never realized there was that many varieties of sedum! I am thinking it had to have come from over at my Gram's. Her's are in shade and mine is in sun, so maybe that could make a difference in coloring. Next spring I want to take some cuttings from hers and put them in sun here and see if any turn out to be the same. I am going to check out the link you gave, see if one pops out! Please tell me they don't sell plants...not sure I can handle the temptation! LOL!
Apperciate your help! Thanks!....Jen

Great photos for a plant ID, poppylover!
There's about 400 species of stonecrops and around 450 varieties, so sometimes it a bit hard to possitvely ID. I think yours is most likely a spectabile, showy stonecrop. A few popular varieties that look a lot like yours are 'Matrona', 'Maestro', and 'Mr. Goodbud'. They look so different in various photos and light, but with a description you may be able to ID. It looks like 'Matrona' to me.... here's a link that may help... (scoll down a ways to the sedums)... Sedum
There are a few tall wild stonecrops and seed can be carried in, but I've never seen one with purple stems. Maybe a name will ring a bell for you...
