This Rose Mallow is named Pavonia hastata.  It's leaves are lance shaped rather than like the typical Mallow leaf which is rounded, sometimes scalloped.  It is a woody perennial which re-seeds itself readily.  The attractive flowers are small, pale pink with burgundy throat, and have no odor.  If planted in full sun, the bush will be full, and grow to about 3' x 3' in size.  The seedlings are easy to get up to share in a trade.
