Prayers needed for my mom and me

Sorry that I haven't been on much. Getting ready to have surgery on my right elbow on Wed in Boston. Please keep me in your prayers as I'm real nervous about having the surgery.
My mom went to her 6 month Dr visit a few weeks ago and finally mentioned to her Dr that she has been having some groin pain and tightness in her chest. The Dr sent her to a cardiologist. He did a stress test on her this past Thurs and she told him that she has been having shortness of breath and some tightness in her chest.. She has been having these symptoms off and on since last fall but she said she felt fine so never mentioned anything to anyone. She has a blockage in her heart and the Dr told her she was very lucky that she finally mentioned this to her Dr as she would of never made it to Yellowstone. They are leaving on May 29th. This Friday she goes in for a cauterization (I think that is what it's called, not sure if the spelling is correct or not) and if they can't fix the blockage then she will have to have a stint put in. She now realizes that she should of said something when the sympthoms started happening last fall.
Please keep her in your prayers that everything goes well for her. My dad will be busy this week. Driving me to Boston on Wed then taking her to the hospital on Friday., He will have to take care of both of us. The dr told my mom that if everything goes well on Friday even if she has to have the stint put in that she should still be able to go on vacation but will not be able to lift anything or do alot of stairs. they are going for a month. hi all
the surgery went well, the dr said i really needed it, the tendon was real thin and there was alot of fluid there too
been in alot of pain and on strong pain pills, going to try to wean off them this weekend. hoping to be able to take a shower today for the first time. can't take the bandage off until i go back on the 3rd of june. got to put a bag over my arm to take a shower as i can not get it wet. they have my elbow in a bent position
my mom came thru her surgery well yesterday, she had a blockage in her heart and the dr said she was lucky that they found it as she would of never made it to yellowstone next month if she didn't have the stent put in. she should be coming home today.
please add my mom's friend family to your prayers, got an email from sally's daughter myra to have my mom call her yesterday but she was in the hospital so see couldn't. sally passed away from a heart attack thursday. what a shock, my mom got an email from her thursday morning.
my dad did tell my mom yesterday and she's handling it well, she will call myra when she gets home today.

Thanks everyone. Finally got the call and my surgery is scheduled for 8am and I have to be there at 6:15 am so my dad and I are going down after work tomorrow and spend the night so we don't have to get up at 3am and drive to Boston. I'm glad its early so I can get it over with and not have to starve all day too. Hoping to be home by 1-2pm.
Well got to go get some things together to take with me. If I'm not able to post, I will call WI and have her post for me. Hugs
