....over Lavender's gorgeous gardens for as long as I've been a member of GH!! As you can see here, they are all perfectly done, yet look so natural. I've seen a picture of the bare ugly area where her lush shade gardens now grow in glory. Lav, how about a series of pics showing then and now of that? PLEASE???

Thank you, Maw... I've wished I could REALLY take a stroll through YOUR glorious gardens for about that long too, my friend. I have posted pics of my shade garden, went on a hunt to find the article I wrote... hmmm... the only way to find it at the moment is to search 'creating shade' ... go to the second page... 'Creating a Shade Garden'. Thanks again for the compliments, Maw, and for all the knowledge and experience you share with all of us!

You are quite the gardener - it will take me years to get the flowers let alone start a beauty like that = go my work cut out for me. Guess I will buy my other half a large rototiller for Xmas! The arrangement is so balanced like an artist painting a picture. Thanks so much.
What a lovely garden Connie! I 'm not sure what book flwrs is talking about, can someone inform me? It sounds interesting. would it be a book of photos depicting the changes in your garden over it's 20 year life? I'd love to see more pics of your garden.

That garden was a 4 foot circle, about 20 yrs ago...lol It was easier to keep removing grass than decide which spreading perennials to take out. It's my favorite garden... almost every plant came from my friend's gardens.
I've been swooning....
