It's growing happily in a 6 inch pot now, got a lot of new growth and even one bloom...may be I should call it "C'mon Spring" cactus :)
This plant was almost dead when I purchased it from a 75% off rack at Home Depot in late January. It was so weak, I didn't think it would make it. Of course, I didn't know the color either....By the way, I've wanted a peach Christmas cactus for about 2 years now, never saw one in the store - and such a strike of luck!

Connie, they THRIVE on
Connie, they THRIVE on neglect - my kind of plant!!!
You are right, it was waiting just for me. I thought I would be buying a typical pink/fusia color one (and I wanted that color too, because my mom had a fusia christ. cactus since I was little. Our cats threw the pot off the window sill at least once every 2 years...Natural division LOL! )
I just got 2 more cuttings in the trade, and those are supposed to be deep pink, so we'll see, next Christmas.

How beautiful
How beautiful Tatyana! I've never seen a peach one. Great save ...it was waiting for you!
I seem to have a way with killing Christmas Cactus. But, a friend gave me a piece of one last fall, rooted in some dirt in a styrofoam cup. I just left in the cup and neglected it, LOL... wouldn't ya know, it's starting to bloom!
