Well I am convinced, spring has sprung.  Although the last couple days have been chilly and rainy.  Today is the 9th of May and it still feels like April.  Oh well...my mind has been on gardening and hunting.  Yes I said hunting !!!  Hunting wild Morells and Ramps.  I just had some scrambled eggs with ramps for breakfeast, yum yum. I asked hubby to bring me more so I can freeze some for later.  I'm new to the Morell hunting though.  I have found a few before but never a mother load.  Around here they are hard to find,[ Northeast Ohio].

As for the wild thing,  I have found a baby bunny I rescued from my neighbors cat's claws.  I placed it under our deck to recuperate and I think he likes it so well he's hanging around the last couple of days.  so tiny and cute,  I'm hoping it survives, even though later he will probably eat my lettuce and cabbages. LOL.  Well it's time to go fishing too.  I hear the Walley and Crappie are hitting.
