Roman's 8: 28, 29

When my oldest grandson Nick was three he had trouble with the "L" sound and it came out "WH"

SO one day we were in the store looking at hosre blankets and he saw a bucket of riding crops. he said "MAMA what are those"

I said, " those are whips"

He got a worried look on his face and said "No those are not whips these are whips"

and he pointed to his mouth>

I still crack up when i thnk about that one L 

 When my niece (my brother's daughter) was about 15 months old, my mother and I made her a silly word book. We tried to think of as many silly or unusual or funny sounding words as possible. One of her favorites was zig zag. She also thought xylaphone was pretty great....That's a great idea! He can look at them when he's older and remember the fun times you had together!

I am going to have to make a silly book to keep for the grandson...in a few years he will be the hit of the play ground...LOL

I'm going to have to tell that one to my daughter.  We caught another skunk in our trap while I was gone, but she handled it pretty well.  She didn't get any smell on her either.
