Hello there, and greetings to my fellow dirt lovers!  I'm not sure if I did this or not when I first joined a month or so ago, so I thought I probably should catch up here.  Life's been pretty hectic in my house lately, just trying to stay in my house!   DH lost his job almost 2 years ago and we've been juggling bills ever since, not falling behind, but really just making the ends meet every month.  "How come just when you earn enough to make ends meet, they move the ends?"  Forget who said that, but it really describes our house!

Anyhow, I'm awaiting spring with trowel in hand, anxiously wanting to dig and till but not able to 'til the ground warms up considerably.  Funny how the mud comes before the ground thaws...  Smile  Our dog found that out first"paw" yesterday, came back inside with four paws just covered!

Just wanted to make sure I had introduced myself, will post pics later on, gotta go for now!

Well, hello!

Good to "run" into you, I was wondering how you were doing.  Spring is doing it's best to spring here as well, the tulips are giving old man winter a real run for his money, eh?  Wink

welcome!

Glad you found us! There are lots of fun and interesting people here who love digging in the dirt too. I hope things settle down for you soon. But, playing in the yard helps me keep a calm outlook on how life treats me. Hang in there and you will weather the storm! May God's most holy angels protect you and guide your hands toward prosperity.

Welcome

Hi Margaret,  Forget the house ends getting longer, how about gas?  I guess heating can strretch the budget too.  I don't know if you knew this, but my sister and her family are residents of Milwaukee, and wow have you all had a winter this year.

Hang in there, our spring is taking its time too.

Wes

Thanks

Thank you all for the warm welcome!  I'll hopefully get some pictures up yet tonight.  Wes, we have some pretty heavy rains headed our way tonight into tomorrow, flood watches have been posted as of this morning.  Just checked the gutters, only about a half an inch of muck in the bottom, not worth climbing up to clean out, so let it rain...we need to clean out those streets!

Welcome  great to see you
