Well the tomato plants are full of tomatoes and I'm waiting for something to ripen. The cucumbers has 2 little ones on it so I'm watching them to get big enough to eat. The onions are getting big and the first planting of radishes has been eaten. We are already eating on the second planting of radishes That means it is about time for the third planting to go in.

Some of the EE's are up and I hope the others come up soon. The caladiums I planted last spring came up for me and the new ones I planted this spring are starting to come up. I think when they get up it will make the shade garden look even better. I have canna's up now. I can't wait until they bloom. I'm not really sure what color they will be.

Of the pots that I replanted they are all planted in a flower bed or the herb bed. I don't think any of the delphiums were in the pots that I salvaged. I'm sorry about that cause I wanted them too. I do have several foxglove that I planted in the ground now. I wasn't sure what they were until they got bigger and I saw some at the National Botanic Gardens. Now I know what that mystery plant is now. I have some larkspur growing along the fence so that could look nice when it blooms. My ferns are growning now. I think they will take over the area I put them in. That is good cause it is hard to mow the grass back there.

The herb/ veggie/flower garden is growing. I love the smell when I walk around out there and brush against the plants. It makes it like heaven to me. It looks like the garlic is getting to the point where we will have to dig it. I hope to have lots of it so I can use some and replant it this fall. I like having garlic growing in the garden if for no other reason to keep some of the bugs away.

The weather had turned hot last week. It is a little cooler today but summer is here. The 90 degree days are upon us. I will be spending more time in the house in the afternoons but I will still go out to the garden at dawn to check on things and to let the puppy do his thing. I like the quiet that time of the day. It is easy to just relax and have a nice cup of coffee on the deck and enjoy the surroundig.
