Making a Silk Flower In A Vase

[img_assist|nid=936|title=Silk FLower Arrangement|desc=|link=popup|align=left|width=250|height=205] You will need: A pretty Glass vase Assorted Silk Flowers Styrofoam form Assorted marbles Take your pretty vase first, put a few marbles in the bottom. Then cut the Styrofoam to fit in the vase a tight fit. Then you take your assorted flowers and cut them in different lengths. Such as tall length, medium length and then short length. Arrange the flowers in the color schemes you chose. Start putting the flowers in the Styrofoam in a manner of a tall length, medium length and then short length. Do this until you use all the flowers you chose and have your vase full of assorted flowers. Then take a place your pretty vase on any table to accent any room.

QH but the points come to you with "just" posting the idea. I'd not have thought to put the styrofoam in the vase to hold things in place. You make it look and sound simple -- but you do, indeed, have a knack for it, too. I have heard that you should arrange flowers in threes -- like have three of this and three of that. Do you follow that "rule"? ALso -- some arrangers prefer to put dark colors toward the bottom to sort of balance it. I see that you've mixed it up a lot, and it really looks nice. Gloria, Thanks I just love to experiment with different flowers and make different arrangements. I have made flowers for my own home. But I have also had the priviledge to make flowers for weddings , funerals, and even have made some for other people homes also.
