bird cage

My husband thought i was nuts when i took an old bird cage and hung it on a pole with hooks that my hubby made for me ,then i let the sweet autum clematis grow up the pole and i trained it to make an umbrella ,then i planted morning glories inside it ,and i found a wrought iron bird and put it on top .it is beautiful ,i have pictures if i could just figure out how to get them on the site .

Bird Cage

I got an old bird cage and made it into a OUTSIDE planter w/real flowers. I set birdcage on a metal chair (old ice cream shop chair). Looks very nice in a vintage junk sort of way. I had originally hung the birdcage but it was pretty heavy and felt safer on a chair.

No pictures taken last year..will do that this season for sure!
