Lessons learned

One year my hubby and I went to a dude ranch in Montana to enjoy a week long adventure on horseback. Before we left I bought a straw hat with a Ranger strap to help keep it from coming off as we rode the trails. It looked rather plain so I decided to dress it up. I hot glued silk sunflowers, wildflowers and daises to the hat band along with some greenery. Once I had it completed it, my husband commented about how natural it looked. Never thinking more about the changes I made to the straw hat I wore it proudly as we rode along the fields of wildflowers. That day several bees took a notion to come sample the sweet nectar of the flowers on the band. The buzzing got more intense as their failed attempts did not yield sweet nectar before they finally flew away. We still laugh about this to this day. I guess the lesson learned is to leave well enough alone.
Does anyone have an interesting story to tell that could be humerous or even a little embarrassing?

Tale told
Dale, Melissa had already told that story to me and you are right it was funny. As for the hat it bit the dust years ago.
