Japanese maple tree

I get these gardening news letters from Mike McGroarty. He has some good info on gardening. This week it was on Japanese maples and I learned a little something new. I didn't know they could be rooted from cuttings. I have a small tree and I plan to root myself another come Spring.

Gloria..that is just wonderful! So glad you posted this. Mom has one that I just love, now I know I can try to get myself a start from it. Never knew you could do that with these. Thanks for the info!

If I"m not mistaken, Rosie was going to plant a whole slew of those. They are beautiful! The foliage looks like fall foliage all year around!
