Japanese Morning Glory, 'Ao muraski zyouhanten shibori', Ipomoea Purpurea
Japanese Morning Glory: Beautiful striped blooms.
Japanese Morning Glory: Ao muraski zyouhanten shibori - just don't ask me to pronounce it!
These are large bloomed Japanese Morning glory vines. Blooms with dark purple (almost blue) steaks and stripes on a white background and lavender throat - each and every flower is unique!
Blooms early in the day.
Loves water, appreciates shade during the hottest part of the day.
I have mine growing in pots on the porch - we weave the vines in & out of the porch posts to make a swag of lovely blooms.
Please add your photos of this plant, as well!
