Hardy to zone 9. Used as an annual vine in colder zones. Grows 6" high and spreads 24". I grow mine in hanging pots. In late fall I pop them out of their pots and carefully remove all the soil, and sort the tubers by size. I pack the smaller tubers in dry potting soil and store them away in the basement for the winter months. (Any frost-free dark area will do). For the large tubers I clean them off (but don't peel them) and steam them, add a bit of butter, salt and pepper. love the texture and flavor of them!!!!

Love it

I love the idea of a duel purpose plant, beautiful foliage and then a treat at the end. Sarah
