All members with a complaint or concern about a trade with another member should be encouraged/instructed to place a note under the trade list of the member who has been unable or unwilling to complete the exchange.  This will protect other members and will alert the member who has been unable or unwilling to complete their trade that you are concerned.

GardenHere, LLC and its volunteer staff members are not responsible for trades that fail.  Staff members will not intervene in these situations.

It is up to each member to take proactive steps to protect themselves and other members. To protect yourself and other members immediately state your concern and list the facts in a comment below the trading members trade list.  If you have had an exceptionally good trade with another member remember to also state positive comments under their trade list. 

Be sure to contact the trading member with an email and a PM and ask for an explanation.  Most of the time, you will find their reason is quite logical and there may have merely been a delay or miscommunication.

Before making a trade with any other member:

1. Read the comments under their trade list, if there are any.
2. Review their profile of any prospective trader to ensure that their profile is completely filled out.
3. Check the number of points the prospective trade has, as this will give you an indication of how active they are in our community.
4. See how many stars they have on their trade list.  This can be a strong indicator of other members impressions of any prospective trader.

Finally, do not participate in any trade that originates anywhere on our site that is posted anywhere outside the Trade List area.  If you choose to make exchanges outside the trade list area, you do so at great risk and are not contributing to the growth of our friendly little community.
