I need help from anyone and everyone!

I've already indicated that I was going to do a scheduled topic chat on hummingbirds, but it occurred to me that it would also be a good idea to write an article on various things related to hummingbirds -- both as a source of information for members, and so that people who might not be able to come to the chat would be able to get some information themselves. I also thought that posting an article with pictures would be even more helpful. That is where you all come in! I'd like members to contribute pictures of plants that they have in their own gardens that lure hummingbirds. If you can capture a shot of a hummingbird, that's great. I just want all the pictures I can possibly amass -- of all the various flowers and plants that draw hummingbirds. Many are known to be hummer magnets, but there are others that aren't generally considered hummer magnets, yet they also draw hummingbirds. At the moment, I haven't started this project, and in some parts of the country, hummers haven't arrived and for most of us, most things aren't in full bloom. If at all possible, I'd like to have at least some pictures by the end of June. If you can help, that's great. I'll ask Dale to create a photo gallery for people to upload these pictures in.

Also, I would like to remind people that this forum was created so that anyone who wanted to write an article or do a photo expose could come to ask for collaborators. This is supposed to be a forum that will foster team work and allow people to come together in a place that's designed just for that purpose, so I hope you all will take advantage of it.

Glad you love it!

The great thing about this place is that we all learn from one another! I just happen to be the resident crazed hummingbird maniac!
