Susan is right, it's Colorama. The 2 planters I made are in almost full sun. Dale, Photo Manager & Good Will Ambassador

Yes, Tatyana
I think that's called Dracena colorama, and it's related to the typical Dracena Marginata, but the foliage is red. It is neat looking isn't it? I think that it's intended for sun. Petunias and snap dragons tend to be sun lovers.

That's beautiful Dale! Thank you for posting it. I love the coconut fiber basket with the black metal holder. How did you make it?
I made up two mixed pots yesterday with canna for the tall element, begonias in front-side of canna, and finally a potato vine right in front to overhang the pot. Hope they do well. This is my first time to grow the potato vine. One is chartreuse, the other is variegated. I hope to post some pics of them.

Maw the basket and coco
Maw the basket and coco liner came from Walmart $5.96. The stand is PVC pipe planted and holes drilled in the tope to put the cable ties to hold the planted and pipe together. Buried the pipe about 15 inches or so. The PVC pipe was over 6 ft. tall.

Lovely, Dale!
Dale, that looks really great! You must write an article about how you did that.
Maw, you put cannas in a planter like that? I hope they were dwarf, but they spread a lot, so that may present problems for you down the pike.
