Description
Pull those garden beans you put in the freezer and of course it tastes great and healthy too - use one of the low cal dressings I previously posted.
Ingredients
- 1 9-ounce pkg frozen cut green beans or italian ones
- 1⁄2 c corkscrew macaroni
- 1⁄2 c reduced-cal italian salad dressing
- 1⁄4 c shredded carrotts
- 1⁄8 c sweet peppers
- 1⁄4 c tiny chopped celery
- 1⁄4 t splenda (sugar for those who can)
Instructions
Cook beans but omit any added salt - I prefer to steam so veggies are done but firm. Drain. Cook the pasta - no salt then rinse in cold water and drain.
Mix in medium bowl too together beans, macaroni, dressing, sugar, carrots, peppers.Cover and chill several hours or overnight toss before you serve.
